The Sporting Clube de Braga, commonly known as Sporting de Braga or just Braga, is a Portuguese sports club from the city of Braga.

Its football team plays in the Primeira Liga (the top tier of Portuguese football) at the Estádio Municipal de Braga (also known as ”A Pedreira” - “The Quarry”).

Sporting Braga is today a national reference club, having achieved in recent years the best rankings in its history, and is already considered the 4th Great of Portugal.

Sporting Clube de Braga, has been growing consistently over the last few years and can be considered as one of the most competitive Football teams in Portugal. Some call it the 4th Great.

FC Porto


Bio:

Founded on September 28th of 1893, the Futebol Clube do Porto, commonly known as FC Porto or just Porto, is one of the biggest sports clubs in Portugal, specially on football, where they are know as one of the Top 3 Portuguese clubs besides Benfica and Sporting.

In it’s history Porto has won the national championship “Primeira Liga” 28 times and is also the most successful Portuguese club abroad, having won 2 times both UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

FC Porto plays on Estádio do Dragão - “Dragon’s Stadium” in english. The stadium was opened on November, 2003 replacing the old Estádio das Antas - “Tapir’s Stadium”. It was used for the inauguration of UEFA Euro 2004 and was also the stage of Porto’s victorious way to the 2003/2004 UEFA Champions League tittle.

SL Benfica


Bio:

Founded on February, 28th of 1904, the Sport Lisboa e Benfica, commonly known as SL Benfica (SLB) or just Benfica, is one of the biggest sports clubs in Portugal, specially on football, where they are know as one of the Top 3 Portuguese clubs besides Porto and Sporting.

Benfica is the winning recordist of the most important national championship, having won the “Primeira Liga” 36 times, the “Taça de Portugal” 26 times and the “Taça da Liga” 7 times. They have also won the UEFA Champions League twice (60/61 and 61/62).

Since 1954 SL Benfica plays on Estádio do Luz at the neighborhood of Benfica. The stadium was demolished on 2003 for the building of a brand new version of itself in the same year. The new Estádio do Luz was born on October, 25th of 2003 in a match against Nacional from Uruguay (2-1 Benfica). It was also the stage of 5 games of EURO 2004 including the championship final.
